Swapper began as a startup where I eventually took on the role of leading a small UX/UI team, managing two team members. Although currently, the only accessible file is a partially developed mobile version, a complete desktop project was previously created and operated for two years until the project’s viability was no longer sustainable. It was a decentralized cryptocurrency banking exchange platform that included services such as DeFi investments and other systems for private and individual wallets. At the time, it was a project with little competition and had the support of over 4,000 followers, which unfortunately was not sufficient to take the project to the next level.
The challenge at Swapper was stepping into a team leadership role for the first time in my life. Leveraging my extensive knowledge of blockchain technology, I was able to build the product from the ground up, managing the entire process end-to-end. This included in-depth research, user testing, and heatmap analysis. For projects of this nature, it’s essential to have a strong technical understanding of the field you’re working in; otherwise, creating a user-friendly product becomes nearly impossible.
