Description

Neuroqualyfam is an application designed for the Spanish public service.
It is used both by doctors, therapists, and nurses on one side of the platform, and by their patients on the other side.
The app focuses on providing neurodivergent individuals, such as those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, with personalized services and immediate attention from the community’s public health services.
It offers various features such as daily tests and assessments to monitor each patient’s progress, and even highlight improvements in many cases.

Background

In this project, I was tasked with the development of the online desktop application.
It was an end-to-end project approached from the perspective of different user personas.
On one side, there was the complex profile of the neurodivergent individual, requiring an extremely clean and easy-to-use interface.
On the other side, the mental health professional user persona needed a more technical interface to interact with.
The application was developed in collaboration with a local team of developers for its subsequent implementation within the public health services board.

The Challenges

As with any project, many challenges arose. However, this particular project presented even more than usual.
It may well be the project in my portfolio that required the most patience and involved the greatest complexity.
Not only did I have to strive to understand the extremely complex user persona of a neurodivergent individual, but I also had to truly adapt to their needs.
